The 2019 Bell Ringer Awards will be held on Wednesday, June 5, from 6 – 9:15 p.m., at the Royal Sonesta Boston. We are thrilled to announce that Tina Martin will be our host this year. Tina is an Edward R. Murrow award-winning and Emmy-nominated and television/radio reporter and host for WGBH News in Boston. More on our incredible host, Tina Martin. Tina reports regularly for the television program Greater Boston and is a fill-in host for Basic Black. On the radio side she reports for 89.7 FM during the local broadcasts of National Public Radio’s Morning Edition and All Things Considered. She contributes to NPR, PBS Newshour, KPBS. WGBY and hosts Local, USA a national television magazine style series on WORLD Channel Network. Tina also created “Just A Thought”–a motivational and inspirational post distributed through social media (www.facebook.com/tinamartinnews and Twitter @TinaAroundTown). She received her degree in broadcast journalism from Emerson College in Boston.
