The Publicity Club of New England Announces 2018 Bell Ringer Award Finalists

BOSTON – May 8, 2018 – The Publicity Club of New England, the region’s premier networking/education association for communications professionals, today announced the finalists for its 50th Annual Bell Ringer Awards. From guerrilla marketing to product-launch campaigns, the awards competition has drawn innovative, high-caliber work from New England’s best and brightest PR and marketing professionals.

This year’s competition includes many new and updated categories, reflecting the ever-evolving marketing and PR industry. With content marketing and digital video playing an increasingly critical role in many campaigns, the awards have seen tremendous growth in these – and many other – areas, driving business results for companies small and large.

Winning work from more than 40 leading organizations and agencies will be showcased during the Bell Ringer ceremony and dinner on June 13 at the State Room. The Pub Club is delighted to host this milestone event at one of Boston’s premier venues – for the first time in the Club’s history – where service and views of the city are simply unmatched. This evening of celebration and reflection on New England’s best PR and marketing campaigns and initiatives of the year is a longstanding tradition that is open to all industry professionals.

Single seats and tables are available to purchase here. Single seats for Publicity Club members are available at $140. Non-members may purchase single seats for $165. Full tables of 10 are available as well for $1,400 for members and $1,650 for non-members.

“This year’s Bells gala will be particularly special, as it’s our 50th year hosting the awards and recognizing excellence in our industry,” said Cheryl Gale, Publicity Club president and managing director of March Communications. “We look forward to the always popular cocktail hour, Chef David Blessing’s three-course dinner, and some exciting surprises for our guests.”

Josh Brogadir, anchor and reporter for WCVB, Boston’s ABC affiliate, returns once again to host the awards show. With more than a decade of experience on-screen, Brogadir shares his multiple talents as a bilingual news reporter, sports anchor, and play-by-play broadcaster. The Publicity Club is thrilled to have him return as the show’s host and invites guests to mark the special, 50th Bells gala in style with cocktail attire.
