Boston University – Teach courses in media writing to undergraduate and graduate students.
Wordscape – Provide freelance writing services for public relations and content marketing as well as book ghostwriting.
Describe what you do for PR Club.
As the treasurer, I oversee the Club’s finances, issue payments, and ensure our ongoing financial health. I also assist the president and president-elect as requested.
Name your top three favorite things about PR.
- The diversity of challenges: from small companies in IT to major healthcare firms. Every day is different.
- Getting a behind-the-scenes view of how news and stories are shaped and developed.
- Meeting so many great colleagues who share a passion for writing and communication.
Do you have a childhood moment when everyone knew you’d be a communications specialist?
In eighth grade, I had to write a term paper on Robert Frost. My mother helped me type it up and, as she read it, she said “You’re a pretty good writer. You should do that for a career when you grow up.”
What is your top getaway destination?
Any place that has sand and waves.
