Recognizing Individual Achievement at the Bell Ringer Awards

While the Bell Ringer Awards are best known for recognizing the great work done by teams from the region’s companies and agencies, the Professional Awards celebrate talented individuals. Each year, we recognize individual excellence in communications through the Striker Awards (newcomer to the industry), Ringer Awards (mid-level practitioner), and John J. Molloy Crystal Bell Award (for lifetime achievement).

Recognizing a colleague on an individual level can improve motivation, productivity and retention in the workplace. The communications industry is often known for its fast pace and superior work – and for the individuals who still go above and beyond. Taking the time to acknowledge a peer is one way to help them understand just how valuable and important their contributions are to the entire team. Having award-winning talent working on your team is also a great way to attract strong clients or talent.

Last year’s Ringer Award winner, Cait Kahle, said “Being a recipient of the Ringer Award during PR Club’s annual Bell Ringer awards ceremony in 2021 was a true honor. To be recognized by my colleagues and nominated by a client is incredibly gratifying and I’ll continue working to move the needle forward for my agency, our clients and our wonderful industry.”

Nominations for these awards are still open for submission and free for PR Club members. This year, we’ve updated the submission format to make it even easier to complete the nomination. Don’t miss this chance to recognize your talented colleagues. The deadline for professional award submissions is Friday, April 15 at 6:00 p.m. ET.
